Welcome to ShipViewer

This website has been created by shipping enthusiasts as a resource enabling shipping enthusiasts world wide to share information relating to locations where shipping can be viewed. Such locations include ports and publicly accessible viewing areas. The locations are plotted as markers using the Google Maps interface. An example for Felixstowe, Ipswich and Harwich can be seen here.

The map can be viewed by all vistors to this website. Registered contributors can share their knowledge by plotting new locations on the map. Registered contributors can also comment on markers created by other contributors to verify or add further information.

This website is still evolving with a lot of functionality and ideas yet to be implemented.
